 Irish Fest 2008
Along with the dancing we will feature great traditional Irish music throughout this 3-week festival. A traditional Irish menu of Irish Lamb Stew, Irish Beef Pie, Dublin Coddle, Leg of Lamb, and everyone's favorite Corned Beef and Cabbage will be available with Irish soups and appetizers. You may enjoy these traditional meals paired with our great Irish styled brews. The Celtic Knot Irish Red Ale and the Susquehanna Irish Dry Stout will be flowing freely along with all of our other great brews. Join us Feb 29 - March 17 for Appalachian's Irish Fest.  1st Annual Distinguished Big Beer Fest

Hey, we always find reasons to celebrate with beer, and this is no exception! This festival will feature a collaboration of big beers and cask ales from over 12 breweries along with several import specialties. And of course there will be munchies available!
The Boro Boogie Pickers will be providing some bigtime bluegrass for your enjoyment. Tickets are $40.00 and limited to the first 350 attendees.

ABC's 11th Anniversary Fest

marks our 11th year rocking the bricks and stones of 50 N. Cameron Street in Harrisburg. To mark the occasion, we've got a little something for everyone that'll delight your ears and keep your feet moving all day long.
The festivities begin that afternoon with Outhouse Races, Keg Olympics and a Pig Roast outside on Walnut Street. Tom Hamilton's American Babies with Slimfit will rock the street with their alt-country, foot stompin, rabble rousin' good times. The music on our outdoor stage begins around 4pm.
That's not all! Later in the night, after the kids have gone to bed (that's sometime around 8:30), meet us in The Abbey Bar for an unforgettable and truly unique performance by Mike Doughty and his bass phenom, Andrew "Scrap" Livingston. Doors open at 7pm sharp with Doughty taking the stage around 9:30...
Oh, you want more? Your wish is our command. Following Doughty's scaled-down set with Livingston, he'll continue to rock the house with a very special DJ set from 11:30 until the lights come up. |

10th Annual Capital City Invitational
Beer Festival

September 15th will be fast approaching, so mark your calendars now! Tickets are on sale now! We will have over 20 regional breweries and vendors selling anything from cigars to brew ware to beef jerky. There will be 3 sessions: 12-3pm, 4-7pm and 8-11pm. Each session includes live entertainment, German style buffet, and your very own souvenir tasting glass to take home. Look for more information at the Brewery and in the Brewsletter!

Oktoberfest 2007 at ABC
 "O'zapft is!" Or for those of you who were having too much fun in school to take a foreign language, "the barrel is tapped!", and we are celebrating! Tap into Oktoberfest at ABC Harrisburg from September 16 through October 6. Once again we hoist the maypole along with our German-style beers to honor this Bavarian tradition. Our festival boasts a traditional German menu featuring Jäegerschnitzel, spätzle, hassenpfeffer, and many more favorites.
To compliment the bill of fare, German beer styles like our special Kipona Fest Märzen Lager, Hinterland Hefeweizen, Dom Blonde Kölsch and Dortmunder-styled Mountain Lager will be flowing. So arrive hungry and thirsty! On the weekends, we liven up the stage with live Polka music. You'll swear you're in a pub in Munich. Es ist wunderbar! |
